German Brigante’s eclectic style has been a feature of labels including Bar 25 Music, DIRTYBIRD, Diynamic, Get Physical, and his latest remix for Sol Selectas is a sublime cut of mystic organic house.
Sabo’s label, Sol Selectas welcomes an EP from Russian artist Zuma Dionys, who fans of the imprint will recognise from his tacks on various artists’ releases such as Summer Sol. Highly anticipated, this EP features two original tracks plus a fantastic remix pack.
KEENE provide a remix in a tribal style of house, while German Brigante’s rework stays closer to the vibe of the shamanistic originals, which have an Arabian influence in the way they have been sonically sculpted.
Based in Spain, German Brigante’s style touches on the Tech House orientated cuts he’s released via labels like Claude VonStroke’s Dirtybird. More recently, he has been focusing on melodic styles with afro grooves, and experimenting with slower tempos.
This remix is yet another fine example of German Brigante’s mastery in the studio and stays true to his other recent releases on labels like Bar 25 Music.
German Brigante’s remix of “Busurman” focuses on streamlined use of the percussion and poignant pads from the original, and restructures them into a refined version with a stripped back aesthetic. Giving the parts space to breath adds new depth to this expertly crafted version.
