GMJ & Matter Provide 333 Sessions A Deep & Atmospheric Mix Of Progressive House

They are an Australian duo who are stalwarts of their country’s club scene.

GMJ & Matter run the Meanwhile record label along with releasing on Mango Alley and Balance Music.

GMJ & Matter are a duo of Australian artists from Melbourne who have been stalwarts of their country’s club scene and are known for their captivating style of progressive house.

Along with their headline DJ sets at local festivals such as Interstellar Groove and Rainbow Serpent, they have also played international headline shows in other parts of the world. Together they also run their highly respected record label, Meanwhile.

Not only have they released music via their own record label, they have also worked with other highly influential imprints such as Mango Alley, Balance Music and Proton. They have also individually worked with the likes of Sudbeat, Parquet and Anjunadeep.

Flow Music was honoured when GMJ & Matter remixed Eric Lune’s track “Adore” for our record label in 2021 and we are honoured to have them back for this epic 3-hour and 33-minute DJ mix.

Their mix is soothing, with an uplifting atmosphere, delightful melodies, and percussion that’s perfect for any dance floor.

Words from the artists: “Hey everybody! We are really proud and happy to share this mix at the end of a big year that was 2022!

The year has felt like many years in many ways with the rollercoaster of challenges as well as highs.
Musically we were able to travel and build and expand our Meanwhile brand, and amongst that find new inspiration for the music we love.

Our intention is always to connect with the cosmic within us to be the bridge to manifest the sound that comes through us.

With that in mind, we wanted to bring forward a deep and introspective journey for this mix that reflected and resonated with our path as both artists and music lovers.

We really wanted to do something different; our intention and feeling was to create something timeless that listeners will want to keep coming back to… a listening experience more than a pure dancefloor set.
Most of our mixes these days being label owners and producers contain a lot of the freshest music we have access to which is always exciting, but for this we wanted more of a journey over a wider span of time and to present a flow that remains deep and reflective, with timeless tunes that fit no matter when or where they were written.

Of course, there is some fresh stuff there from our labels and ourselves, as well as a few edits we have made especially for this mix.

We hope you all enjoy this journey; we poured our heart and soul into it and we are honoured to share this as the last 333 mix for the year that was 2022.”
