Ramiro Lopez Can’t Stop Sweating

The Spaniard unveils Suara’s new release before the end of the year

“It’s been a long time since I’ve released a full EP on the kitties’ label” the techno maker says of the new release for Suara imprint “I’ve kind of been busy lately working on some mind-bending material for Drumcode, Noir Music and on my own label – Odd. I’m very happy to be back now! I’ve loved testing out these tracks in my sets over the last few months. The main goal here: make the people dance and sweat (As the title of the EP says). Hope you people are digging them. Roarrrr!” continues to assert the DJ and producer with headquarters based in central Spain.

“Sweating” EP -which is scheduled to be published on December 9- consists of 4 original cuts. Four-on-the-floor techno cuts! ‘Ben Ben’, a unique track, sitting in the horizon between techno and hypnosis, one of those cuts that let you get lost and travel to the edge. “Nasa Is Sweating Feat. Theo Nasa” where Ramiro invited London-based artist Theo Nasa into his laboratory of sound. Theo Nasa is considered a beacon of weird, rough, melodramatic techno and he firmly stamps an unorthodox sound deep into this track.

There will be also “Unwilling to Change” and “Universe” where the ‘techno activista’ is in one’s element firing percussion and pulsating lines. Ramiro has created something suitably weighty here thanks to warped-but-lovely modulated synths. “Universe” sounds actually like an Earthquake. Beware of the ‘break’ halfway through… Judge for yourself, here’s a preview of all the EP.
