Sugar Mountain is a Melbourne-based festival that in 2023 will once again be teaming up with Boiler Room to stream DJ sets from some of the biggest names in underground house and techno.

Boiler Room needs no introduction as one of the leading streaming platforms for electronic music and on Saturday 21st of January 2023, they will be hosting a stage featuring DJ sets from DJ Bone, John Talabot, Darwin, Roza Terenzi, Moktar, Colette and DJ PGZ.

It’s a mixture of homegrown and international DJ talent that will get the dance floor whipped into a frenzy of excitement for those lucky enough to attend the event, as it’s recorded live.

DJ Bone needs little introduction as one of the pioneering techno DJs from the genre’s birthplace in Detroit. Known for his flamboyant DJ skills and high-energy style, he never fails to deliver an outstanding performance.

John Talabot is a Spanish artist who is known for his deep and analogue style that fuses acid synths with grooves from a variety of different tempos. Trippy and full of atmosphere, his style has mesmerised crowds of people across the world.

Darwin is a Canadian artist currently based out of Belin and is known for her bass-heavy style that’s a genre-defying mix of breaks, dubstep and garage. She has a bass-heavy style and plays regularly at places like Berghain / Panorama Bar.

Others playing on the line-up include home-grown Australian talents Colette, DJ PGZ, Moktar and Roza Terenzi. Each of them will bring their own unique sound to the event and be livestreamed to the rest of the world via Boiler Room.

Starting in the early afternoon and running into the evening, it will take place at Naarm’s Seaworks Maritime Precinct and you can find ticket info HERE.
