Annie Mac Will Give A Talk This Month At ‘AVA Online’

Scheduled for the 28th of May at 2 PM GMT, the radio host and world-famous DJ will share the story of her career.

Annie Mac will later this month give a talk as part of AVA Online.

Scheduled for the 28th of May, the world-famous DJ and radio presenter will discuss her life, which has primarily been spread across Dublin, Belfast and London.

She will touch upon the evolution of her career in music, and how it’s been influenced by her broadcasting on BBC Radio 1.

The online event will be filmed at the House of St Barnabas in London and streamed live from the AVA Festival’s website.

AVA Festival was founded in Northern Ireland, and after gaining a reputation for being one of the country’s best electronic music festivals, it now also runs parties in other UK cities including Glasgow and London.

Sarah McBriar is the AVA founder, and giving a statement about Annie Mac said: “Annie Mac’s career and what she has done for the industry, particularly females, is staggering,” then continued “Her transition from DJ to Radio and now author is inspiring and a story we want to know more about! I am thrilled that we have her on board.

Other people also featuring as part of AVA Online on the 28th of May include a workshop by Max Cooper called ‘Yearning For The Infinite’ and there will also be a general discussion about DIY: Release Strategies.

Following the talks there will also be a live music stream featuring performances from R Kitt + Freeney, and Holly Lester.
