This new MiNT Festival concept is about making lasting musical memories as you get up close and personal with the world’s best DJs. No corners will be cut on production, and the six separate stages across the weekend will all have their carefully curated own look, sound and feel. The music will blast through punchy Funktion-One stacks and at the sprawling 136-acre Newsam Green Farm. It offers magic views with the city centre providing the perfect backdrop for the festival with plenty of special sunset moments once day turns into night.

This year there will be an all-new techno arena, The Valley – a traditional big top that will become an intense cauldron of energy as uncompromising talents Trym, Hector Oaks, VTSS, Clara Cuvé, Balrog and Willow line up on day one. On Day two, it will be hosted by the influential and boundary-breaking HE.SHE.THEY. collective, which is now globally renowned for bringing back the values that defined the early scene – it’s a party that is all about inclusivity and diversity, about making everyone and anyone feel welcome irrespective of age, race, sex, gender, ability, religion, background or their sexual preference. It will be headlined by Grammy-nominated Ninja Tune artist and all-round party-starter Jayda G as well as deep house dons Chaos in the CBD, classy banger craftsmen Salute, plus Absolute, Emily Nash, Sandra Spritz, Bay-bush-ka and Will Druid.

Then there is The Orchard, which is part of the 200-year-old English farm and is a natural clearing in the woodland with towering trees on all sides. It is an intimate space hosted by the legendary Leeds night system with guests like long-time residents Annie Errez and Bobby ODonnell, returning favourite and FUSE founder Enzo Siragusa plus key associate Rich Nxt, new school electronic house talents Sweely and Laidlaw as well as Locklead and Rossi. On day two, it will be hosted by Eats End Dub’s faultless Eastenderz label which deals in fine fusions of garage, dub and tech. The main man invites the likes of  Archie Hamilton, Jamback, Kolter, Toman, Julian Fijma, Annie Errez and Bobby O’Donnell.

Last but not least is the iconic Bunker, a famous container stage with fire cannons, futuristic lasers and speakers that have been the site of many epic sunset sessions in the past. Day one welcomes man of the moment Ben Hemsley, one of house music’s most exciting new prospects and one of the most in demand artists of the year with releases to his name on imprints such as Ministry Of Sound, Trick and Armada. He’s joined by the likes of Disfreq, DJ Daddy Trance and Josh Micky. Completing the day one line up is Radio 1 dance queen Sarah Story while day two will have two very special guests to be announced joining Dxnby, Ben Sterling, Max Dean and Sosa.
