Slam have announced the return of their club night ‘Pressure’.

The trailblazing Scottish duo are relaunching their Glasgow based event on the 27th of Augusts at SWG3’s Galvanizers.

Slam will be playing a five hour back-to-back set on six decks.

The enforced hiatus has been 18 months with the last Pressure party for New Year’s Day 2020. During this time the pair have developed a collaborative series of recordings with some of the most innovative artists on the techno scene.  Due for release once dancefloors start to reopen, with the first EP in the ‘Louder than Chaos’ series planned for release in September on their iconic Soma Records label, which now boasts in excess of 700 releases, including McMillan and Meikle’s own Slam productions and many of today’s most cutting-edge techno artists.

Stuart McMillan of Slam said: “It’s been too long since we played in front of the Pressure crowd and we miss it so much. Excited is an understatement. This could well be the best Pressure night ever when we finally get everyone back together on the dancefloor and we have loads of brand new techno bombs to drop. It’s going to be insane!’

Renowned for both their experience and powerful, contemporary sound, the duo will play a rare 5 hour, 6 deck, back to back set in SWG3’s Galvanizers on Friday 27th August at SWG3, after the lifting of social distancing restrictions in Scotland.
