Dorroo first featured on Carl Cox’s label Intec in 2013 and now he is back on the imprint with a new EP consisting of three original tracks.
Along with the aforementioned previous release on Intec other labels to have featured music from Dorroo include Teggno, but the vast majority of his tracks have been releases via his own Crado Recordings.
Many people associate the Romanian electronic music scene with the stripped back style championed by the likes of Raresh, but Dorroo is one of the people representing the harder side of the countries thriving scene, and he has a longstanding relationship with Carl Cox.
“The Cave” is the title track on the new Intec release, and here at CU we’ve got an exclusive premiere of it. Dark and hypnotic with an understated style, the loopy groove unleashes a slow building tension that’s enough to makes the walls shake.
