5 Key Faces You Need To See at Sonus Festival This Year

Currently in it’s sixth year, Sonus Festival is Croatia’s leading house and techno shindig.

With over 45 artists playing across multiple clubs and beaches over the span of four days, there’ll be some tough decisions for fans to make when it comes to this line-up. So, ahead of Sonus festival, 19th-23rd August 2018 here are five artists not to miss.

Dorian Paic

Currently residing in Berlin, local legend Dorian Paic has earned his stripes when it comes to establishing himself as a veteran selector. Paic has spent over 20 years firmly engrained in the Frankfurt music scene, holding residencies in some of his home town’s key clubs – but he didn’t stop there. In recent years he has held residencies in Ibiza, not to mention playing big name festivals across the globe. We can’t wait to see him at Sonus this year, showing us exactly why he has garnered the reputation he deserves.

Peggy Gou

Over the last two years, producer and selector Peggy Gou has taken the scene by storm, gaining widespread recognition from DJs and party-goers alike. Her Ninja Tune release ‘It Makes You Forget’ has been hailed the sound of the summer, whilst her DJ sets are guaranteed to keep the crowds moving. A newcomer to Zrce beach, her first set at Sonus festival will definitely be one not to miss.

Jackmaster

Hailing from Glasgow, Jack Revil aka Jackmaster is one of the most in demand selectors in the electronic music scene. His career has seen him play some of the biggest venues and festivals across the globe, and this year brings him to Sonus festival 2018. We cant wait to see what the NUMBERS head honcho will bring to this set.

Sonja Moonear

Sonja Moonear is no stranger when it comes to Zrce beach, this longstanding member of the Sonus family will be welcomed back with open arms once again this year. A household name when it comes to house, techno and minimal music, her versatile mixing style and selection ability makes her one of electronic music’s most in demand selectors. We can’t wait to tune in to Sonja’s selections of euphoric techno anthems.

Praslesh (Raresh and Praslea)

Last but definitely not least, Romania’s finest selectors pair up for what will be an unmissable set. Consisting of Raresh and Praslea – two DJs who are respected in their own right, DJ duo Praslesh is our final pick of who not to miss at Sonus.

Well there we go, it looks as though this year’s Sonus festival might just be the best one yet. Featuring some of the scenes most established talent, August 2018 couldn’t come any sooner. Standard tickets are available to buy from www.sonus-festival.com, starting at €159.
