Stylo is a Tel-Aviv based artist who boasts releases on labels such as Armada.

One of the artists emerging from Israel’s underground club scene, Stylo returns to Timeless Moment with a new track called “Got Mine” which is a mix of introspective melodies and dance floor grooves.

Hi Stylo, can you start by telling us about yourself, and how you first got into electronic music?

Hi! My name is Nir Sadoun and I am 40 years old. I started to make electronic music 15 years ago, but all of this time I was making another genre called PsyTrance. I was in one of the most renowned bands in the world on this scene, and I played every weekend on the biggest parties and Festivals. But after I heard techno music for the first time, I fell in love with it and decided to leave everything and start a new project under a different name.

Could you talk us through your new track “Got Mine”, and the EP that it features on?

Got Mine (original version ) is a melodic techno track but with more dance floor power, with a clean bassline sound and a lot of harmonies and organic Synths. I tested this track so many times and every time I’ve played it live I see the dance floor go wild.

The EP also has a beautiful remix by Jos & Eli. What I love about this remix is that they took it to the dark side, leaving the main melody but turning its groove and atmosphere much more obscure. This is why I believe in this ep so much, because I know it can work with all kind of DJs. Here are two tracks with the same melodic hook but with very different styles.

How did you meet the team behind Timeless Moment who are releasing your new EP, and is this your first release for the imprint?

I met the Timeless Moment team after checking Beatport tracks for my gigs because their releases always caught my ears. I noticed that they have the new sound of techno that I was looking to bring to my sets and the type of music I was producing. I decided to send them my new music and I am really glad they liked! What I love about Timeless is that we both have the same goals and dreams and want to make things happen together!

Which other labels have you worked with, and what’s been your proudest moment to date?
My last release was a track called “Heart Beat ” and it was released on Armada. I was fortunate to get big support from Armin Van Buuren and he played this single many times on his radio show.

Have there been any big-name DJ’s supporting your music, and who is the DJ/producer that inspires you the most?

I was lucky to be getting big support from day one by the mighty Solomun, playing my music in many shows including the great CERCLE stream. I also got support by Nicole Moudaber, Armin Van Buuren, Black Coffee, Magdalena, Tale of Us and many more

I’m told that you are playing in EDC Mexico, would you like to tell us a little bit about the event?

Of Course! EDC is one of the biggest dance music parties in the world and many call it “Tommorowland” of the Americas. Last year EDC Mexico was packed with 450.000 people. All of the biggest DJs in the world will play this year and the party is going to go through 3 days in Mexico City. I am delighted to be invited to perform there this year.

What’s next in your schedule after the Timeless Moment release hits stores ‪on the 27th of January?‬
After this release, I will have a new track with Goom Gum plus a new track with Space Motion that will be released in the middle of February on Space motion records. I also have many more releases signed and upcoming with Timeless Moment. Stay tuned!
