Australian label Lucid Dreaming returns with a fantastic new two tracker from Green George. He is Irish born but Perth based and is an award winner who has turned many heads with his DJ sets.
Green George has released on labels like TC Records and King Street Sounds and often tops the charts with his tunes. Here he impresses once more.
Opener Sona is a seven-minute journey into elastic and futuristic house grooves with cool sci-fi feelings. A vocal brings the soul and the chords are warm and colourful. It’s a classy track that will get the floor locked in and along for the ride.
Then comes Turas, which is more percussive but just as smooth and seductive. It has pensive pads roaming in the background as crisp metallic hits and upright drums get your feet moving.
These are two terrific tunes that mark another excellent release for this essential label.
