Matador Drops New EP ‘Blue Dreams’

The two track release is out now via his record label Rukus.

Matador returns to his record label RUKUS label with a two-track melodic house/techno EP which also features the vocals of Artche.

Matador is one of the underground’s most prolific and assured artists. Composing everything from stripped-back minimal to powerful main room sounds, and he has been featured on scene-leading record labels ranging from Crosstown Rebels to Minus.

He kicks off the release with his Blue Dreams collaboration with Artche, which is a masterfully melodic cut that has you gazing in wonder at the rippling cosmic chords as the deep, steamy beats roll below. The track also has smokey vocals which add a soulful element to make this a stand-out cut.

‘Moonlight’ then unfolds with seven minutes of hypnotizing melodic house with deep atmosphere. The tightly sequenced drums invite you in and the pitched tones of synths, and subtle background vocals help create a spellbinding groove.
