While the song is an undeniable hit for techno lovers of all genders and walks of life, it definitely appeals to the badass ladies who love booty percolating.
Like a Girl is deep in the techno category and a bit of a departure from Clarke and Monaco’s usual house-heavy sound. The song is totally unique, and video-game inspired synths give it a sinister nature. The staple house beat of DIRTYBIRD remains, though, and repeating quirky lyrics gives the track its edge.
