Places To Find Grants & Public Funding For DJs/Musicians

Compiled by Resident Advisor, the list includes organisations in Europe, Australia and America.

Resident Advisor today posted a list of the places that musicians, DJs and other creative professionals can claim grants, and we decided to help spread the word.

Here at Flow Music, we have also been doing our bit, as we know the last year has hit the music industry hard. We launched the Flow Sessions podcast which pays the invited DJs a cash fee for providing us with an extended 3 hours and 33-minute mix.

We know that initiatives like Flow Sessions only benefited a small handful of the many thousands financially affected by the pandemic’s lockdown, but sometimes, every little helps.

You can hear all of the Flow Sessions podcasts below, and a new mix is published every week…

In the words of Resident Advisor: “As the pandemic rolls on, various charities, companies and cultural institutions are finding new ways to support artists, promoters and creatives within electronic music. We remain grateful for the support we’ve received and would like to guide others.

Resident Advisor has said they will keep their list up to date as more opportunities arise, but below is a list of what’s currently available…
