Orly Gal & Sleepy Cat Drop New EP ‘OS’

The two track release is out now via HDDNSYMBLS.

Orly Gal is a Los Angeles based techno artist who is back with the second release on her new record label called HDDNSYMBLS.

The latest release on HDDNSYMBLS’ includes three dark and hypnotic techno tracks by Orly Gal and fellow American artist Sleepy Cat.

Collaborating together for the first time they are each well-known on Los Angeles’ club scene and both has dropped solo productions via other record labels prior to teaming up.

Sleepy Cat has an eclectic production style that also includes house music on record labels such as Audiophile XXL and Chilled Cat Music. Orly Gal has a more defined style focused exclusively on techno, and she has already worked with noteworthy imprints such as Kaiserdisco’s KD RAW.

“Money Breaks” is the EP’s opening track and it sets the tone with buzzing elements and dystopian synths that lead into shuffling hi-hats and a stripped back groove full of brooding intensity.

Things get dark and industrial with “Sahara” and its swelling bursts that wash over the track with a shadowy atmosphere carried forth by the unrelenting flow of the gritty percussion.

“Confusion” is the last of the three tracks and it delivers an onslaught of percussion with a distorted kick drum and snare rolls that unleash hell while it continually picks up momentum and builds spine-tingling suspense.
