Flow Music has been working hard to help grow Australia’s underground electronic music scene and strengthen its links with other parts of the world.
2023 is going to be a big year for Flow Music, including more new releases from our record label, lots of exclusive podcasts, interviews, and series of Australian events.
We have started partnering with festivals and events, and have arranged for a number of talented European artists to tour across Australia.
The tour starts at Festival 23 in the Macedon Ranges on the 27-29th of January where we have arranged for Joep Mencke, Seth Schwarz, Franca, Deep Ghosh and Madmotormiquel to play as part of the event’s epic line-up. (CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS)
Once the dust has settled and Festival 23 comes to a close, then we will be travelling to The Abercrombie Hotel for Maniac Love cohosted with Tabularasa presents in Sydney on Saturday the 4th of Feb for a show featuring Osunlade, Madmotormiquel, Licaxx, Joep, Mencke, Seth Schwarz. IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the devastating fire Tuesday morning at ATET, the upcoming Flow Music & ATET Presents event will now be held at The Third Day in North Melbourne. To show ATET our love and support, Flow Music will be donating 100% of the profits from Sunday’s event to helping the team rebuild. Madmotormiquel is a Berlin-based organic house legend whose DJ sets never disappoint. He is a pioneer of the melodic house sound and along with his storytelling DJ performances, Madmotormiquel has produced tracks for the record labels such as Katermukke and Bar 25.
Franca is a German artist who is currently based in the Netherlands and she is well-respected for her having an eclectic style that ranges from indie dance to melodic house/techno. Not only is she a talented DJ who has played sets everywhere from Thailand to Poland, Franca has also produced tracks for record labels such as URSL and Get Physical.
Seth Schwarz is a German artist who has translated his classically trained violin skills into creating epic melodic house sets that are full of mood-influencing melodies. Not only is he a skilled DJ, he is also a talented producer who has worked with the likes of All Day I Dream and Einmusika Recordings.
Joep Mencke is a Dutch artist whose organic sound is influenced by nature, which will be perfect for the event’s picturesque setting. There is already much hype about him playing in Australia, as he is well-known for his music on labels such as Happy Camper Records and Klassified.
Deep Ghosh is a Flow Music curator who is flying in from the Netherlands to play a set in his trademark style of deep and majestic house with melodic grooves. He is a skilled DJ that started his career in 2017 playing sweaty clubs in Berlin. Since then, he has blossomed into an international DJ playing everywhere from South Africa to Burning Man in America’s Nevada Desert, and yes, Deep is his real name.
