The country has a population of nearly 9 million and has already vaccinated around 5 million people.
Yuli Edelstein is Israel’s Health Minister, and last Sunday he announced there was no longer a reason for clubs and bars to remain closed.
Starting on the 21st of March, he announced that nightlife culture could open as normal. In a statement, Yuli Edelstein announced “The infection rate has fallen back below 0.8 for a long time. The number of hospital patients is also falling sharply. This is thanks to the five million Israelis who have been vaccinated.”
Israel has been leading the world with its rapid vaccination process, and so far, no other countries have got such a large percentage of their population protected against the COVID-19 virus.
Vaccination passports mean that it’s now possible for their population to go to work, shop, and play sports. Live music can also start again which is great news for the country’s clubbers, DJs and musicians.
Everyone in the country can once again experience the freedom of social gatherings and nightclub dance floors.
