Ibiza Has New Gourmet Burger Restaurant Themed On DJs

iBeefaBurger serves things like the Hot Mince 82 burger plus Annie Mac and Cheese.

Ibiza’s San Antonio has a new gourmet burger restaurant that’s themed around electronic music.

The restaurant called iBeefaBurger opened last month, serving up a selection of burgers and sides including vegan and vegetarian options. On the menu is a selection of dishes inspired by world-famous DJs and electronic music producers.

With comically named dishes including tongue in cheek takes on DJ names, you can order things on the ‘Main Room’ menu including the Paris Stilton, Hot Mince 82, and Salomon. Vegetarian options are equally funny with the Avcocado Villalobos and some Patty Toppings.

Some of the sides available are Nacheo Plex, Roni Fries or Tale of Hummus and of course the Annie Mac and Cheese.

Kai Cant is co-owner of iBeefaBurger, and discussing his new business he said: “When you think of a burger restaurant in San Antonio you might envisage an all-night van with dodgy meat and fist-fights in the queue,” he continued “In fact, people’s expectations of burgers have completely changed over the last decade or so, and we felt there should be something on the island to reflect this. Great music and the great food in an uplifting club atmosphere is what iBeefaBurger is all about.”

Hannah Wants played a set at the restaurant’s opening party, and live DJs soundtrack the dining experience. ‘Black Cards’ will also be given to select VIP members for a lifetime of free food in the restaurant, so it seems likely that DJs visiting the island could end up eating there before gigs.

Those who have a big appetite will also be pleased to know there is soon to be an ‘Eats Everything Challenge’ at iBeefaBurger, so those with the stomach for it could also have the chance to win a free meal.

Co-founder Ashley Ienco gave a statement saying “having organised club events in Ibiza for years, I could see a gap in the market for a music-inspired restaurant that replicated the club experience and brought the party atmosphere to dining.”

Currently, clubs in Ibiza are still closed due to the pandemic, but there is a trial event this month, and once the island’s music scene is open for business, then this sounds like a fun place to go for a meal.
