Frankfurt’s Robert Johnson Nightclub Will Reopen This Weekend

Having been closed since the start of the pandemic the German venue has announced its plans to open on Friday the 5th of November.

Robert Johnson is one of Germany’s most famous nightclubs.

Having been closed since the start of the pandemic the Frankfurt based venue has announced its planning to reopen this weekend on Friday, November 5th.

The venue has been publishing teasers this week on its social media pages, and the most recent post reveals a line-up including sets from Dixon, Black Spuma, Chinaski, Franziska Berns and resident Ata.

Earlier in the week, Robert Johnson made an Instagram post with the words “GG Only,” which may refer to “Geimpft, Genesen,” which means all attendees to have to give proof of vaccination or have recently recovered from COVID-19.

Like many clubs and music venues around the world, Robert Johnson has financial struggles due to lockdown, and ran two merch-led fundraisers called SEE YOU SOON and Keep In Touch.

As part of those fundraisers, fans of the venue had the chance to buy items such as sparkling wine from Ata, artworks by Dixon, and a €1,981 bronze sculpture of Sven Väth’s hand.#
