Austin Leeds & Danko Skystöne Collaborate On New Flow Music Release ‘Oblivion’

Out now, their original track is joined by a remix from Brazilian artist André Sobota.

Flow Music’s record label closes 2022 with a new melodic house single that’s been supported by DJs ranging from Joris Voorn to Nick Warren.

We are proud to present the eighth release on Flow Music’s record label which is a collaborative melodic house release from Austin Leeds and Danko Skystöne, which also features a remix by André Sobota.

After starting the imprint in 2021 we couldn’t be any happier with how the label has grown over the last 12 months. Along with lots of original material from talented Australian artists such as Josh Richards, Tonelab and AEYEM. The record label has also featured remixes by Uone, Super Flu, El Mundo and Anthony Pappa.

Closing out the year, Danko Skystöne is a Melbourne-based artist who is known for his progressive house sound. He is a resident DJ on two radio stations, Global Groove Radio on Insomnia FM and Deeper Realms on Saturo Sounds UK. In addition to his regular Melbourne club gigs, he is also a skilled producer and mastering engineer with solo releases on labels such as Mindwarp Records.

For his latest release Danko Skystöne has teamed up with Austin Leeds who is an American artist from Miami that over the years has become a regular collaborator with Danko Skystöne. Together they have released their masterful tracks on Rebel House Official, Sirup Records, Perspectives Digital and Clubsonica. Austin Leeds has also featured solo tracks on labels including John Digweed’s Bedrock.

André Sobota is a Brazilian artist who has been a long time idle of the Flow Music team and he provides a remix in the epic style he has featured on leading melodic house labels such as Global Underground, Black Hole Recordings, microCastle and Anjunadeep.

“Oblivion” is the original track on the release and it has an uplifting atmosphere with moody undertones. Its gliding synths, ethereal vocal textures and flowing percussion create a mesmerising groove that unfolds with breathtaking eloquence.

André Sobota’s remix of “Oblivion” strips back the percussion to draw more attention to the original’s synth parts and add an expansive atmosphere. He also restructures the track so it unfolds with captivating suspense as it builds towards a spine-tingling breakdown.

2023 is going to be another big year for the Flow Music record label and you can buy the new release HERE.
