GIGEE is a rising star of the melodic house scene who is known for her music on labels such as Mobilee.

Joris Voorn invites Polish artist GIGEE to his record label, Spectrum. It’s a stunning two-track melodic house/techno EP that showcases GIGEE’s ability to intertwine emotive melodies and upbeat percussion with techy rhythms.

GIGEE is a Polish artist currently living in Paris, France. She is fast becoming one of the most exciting up-and-coming artists within the melodic scene, and this new release follows her recent outing on the highly respected record label, Katermukke.

Continually showing her versatility as a producer, GIGEE is also a skilled DJ who translates her knowledge of what works on the dance floor into her productions. Her last release was a collaboration with Dirty Doering, but this time she is working as a solo producer.

Her new EP opens with the title track “Mind Games” which has a powerful bassline that underpins ethereal vocal textures and uplifting pads. Its delicate melodies and strong percussion add weight to the bottom end while helping create uplifting euphoria up top.

“Is This A Dream” is second on the release and it’s a cinematic track with sweeping pads and poignant piano chords layered over a solid kick drum and throbbing bassline. It’s an emotive track that would be a perfect closing an epic DJ set or soundtracking a sunrise.
