RawW Drops Singles ‘Train To Nowhere/And if we Follow’

Both the tracks are out now via the District 47 record label.

RawW recently debuted on the District 47 record label, and returns to the imprint with another two deep tech/melodic techno tracks.

After dropping two new singles in March, the Spanish artist has another two for April, and they follow his same formula of blending hypnotic synths with techy percussion.

This flurry of new releases has helped RawW gain a foothold in the electronic music scene, and we are told that his music has already received DJ support from the likes of Anja Schneider and Alexi Delano.

“Train To Nowhere” came out on the 14th of April and it’s a melodic techno track with building synths and rattling percussion rhythms. It’s got a slight dub techno influence and utilises bursts of white noise along with other atmospheric textures, and has elements reminiscent of works by other producers such as Robert Babicz and Joris Voorn.

“And if we Follow” is scheduled for the 28th of April and has a dark and more techno orientated sound with sharp synth stabs, snare rolls and jackin’ rhythms, that build tension as the track develops. Understated and purposeful, it’s a solid cut that will no doubt find a home in many DJ sets.

It will be interesting to see if District 47’s output continues to focus exclusively on the music of RawW, but so far it appears to be a winning combination.
