Sol Selectas mark the start of 2022 with a new release titled Global Entry 3, which is an eleven-track compilation focusing on organic house with melodic grooves.
Global Entry is an annual compilation that is compiled by label owner Sabo, and this year it features Derun, Namito, Hot Oasis, Guy Maayan, KÖNI, Clay Lio, Deenara, Memo Rex and Ece Ekren. There are also two collaborative tracks included, the first by Choopie and Golan Zocher, then a second by Dachshund and Quenum.
Many of those artists are well-known, established names, but Deenara is one example of a lesser-known producer making their debut on this release.
The established artists such as Namito, Quenum and Hot Oasis have featured on other industry leading record labels, and collectively, the back catalogues of all the artists on this EP include imprints such as A Tribe Called Kotori, Bar 25 Music, Akbal Music, Cosmic Awakenings, Bedrock, 8bit, Balance Music, Cocoon, and Crosstown Rebels.
Although the core of this release is focused around the organic house genre, it’s still an eclectic release that also branches out into genres including afro house, deep tech, and indie dance.
“Bedouin Jo” by Hot Oasis is one of the highlights on the release with its hypnotic atmosphere and dramatic percussion fills. Guy Maayan’s “The Greatest Show” has a great hustle and bustle to its very lively groove, and Dachshund & Quenum’s “Reverse” has a techy groove with warm analogue textures.
There truly is something for everyone on this rather spectacular collection of tracks, which you can purchase HERE.
