The Lofts is a new North East of English super club opening in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Spread over three rooms, the 1,500-capacity venue is the biggest nightclub to open in the North East of England for over a decade.
Its launch night will feature headline DJ sets from Pete Tong and Horse Meat Disco who will be playing alongside other guests Charlie Hedges, Mighty Mouse and Natasha Kitty Katt plus residents John Dance, Jonny Burn and Kev Cannon.
Opening on the 27th of August, The Lofts promises to be fitted with a groundbreaking L-Acoustic sound system plus a “state-of-the-art, fully immersive light and visual show”.
John Dance, Marty Smith and Rob Seaman are the team behind the venue and between them, they have decades of experience in running events across the North East and Ibiza.
Rob Seaman’s resume includes being a previous director at both Café Mambo and Ibiza Rocks, along with working on Pete Tong’s Wonderland party series and the Swedish House Mafia’s Pacha residency.
Giving a statement on his new venue space, Rob Seaman said: “Our aim is to build on the excellent reputation Newcastle already has and raise its profile still further. We are booking international artists from different genres and can mix up the styles on the same night in the different rooms. We will have something to offer everyone at The Lofts and look forward to welcoming music fans not just from the local area but from throughout the UK.”
