Rudosa Drops New EP ‘Back in the Day’

The four track release is out now on Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave.

Rudosa is a UK techno artist living in Manchester that has built an international following with the help of his releases on Terminal M, Soma, Second State and We Are The Brave.

We Are The Brave is the record label run by Alan Fitzpatrick and Rudosa’s latest release sees him return to this imprint with a four-track EP called ‘Back in the Day’. Rudosa is known for making tracks that are often in excess of 140 bpm and although this release keeps the tempo high, there is also a funk to the groove.

First on the release, “Back in the Day” gets its title from the vocal sample that runs throughout the track. Off-kilter chords give the track an unnerving vibe that adds to the dark atmosphere which is underpinned by a rolling bassline.

“Naughty Pleasure” is second on the release with its fast-flowing rhythms and modulating vocals that wash over the percussion to create a hypnotic groove. It’s a hard-hitting track with deep atmosphere and tribal percussion.

“Fresh” keeps the energy high while stripping back some of the mid-range percussion to create space for an acid synth line. It has powerful percussion and an infectious bassline that fills the track with a driving force.

“Lota” closes out the release with a menacing synth line and a stripped-back groove that’s filled with sparse stabs and lots of eerie textures.
