Carl Cox will play B2B with Christopher Coe for Melbourne Music Week.

Melbourne Music Week starts on the 3rd of December, and along with homegrown local talent, the city will also play host to headline artists from around the world.

There are lots of events happening across a wide selection of music genres, but one that stood out to us was the Awesome Soundwave party on the 7th of December.

For those who aren’t already in the know, Awesome Soundwave is a record label headed up by the iconic Carl Cox who is one of the world’s most influential DJs. Known for his upbeat vibe and infectious energy, Carl Cox is a true legend in the worlds of house and techno.

Awesome Soundwave is a record label that Carl runs with friend and business partner Christopher Coe, and the imprint has a specific focus on the music of live performing electronic music artists.

Their record label has signed artists from across the globe including Australia, and the event will be headlined by the label owners themselves, playing back-to-back.

The event is being run in conjunction with Stable Music, and will also feature live performances from Honeysmack, Ehsan Gelsi, Monolith and Jani Ho, along with a warm-up DJ set by DJ Yarra.

Located at the intimate setting of the MMW Club, this is a rare chance to see Carl Cox away from a stadium-sized event, and he is joined by a host of other talented electronic music performers.
