Australia’s Gaytimes Festival Announces 2022 Line-Up

Taking place in Gembrook between February 18-20, those playing include DJs such as Wax’o Paradiso and Jennifer Loveless.

Gaytimes is a LGBTQ+ camping and music festival celebrating its 6th anniversary in 2022.

The festival sold out within hours of tickets going on sale but has only just announced its full 50-act line-up.

Due to pandemic restrictions, the event was unable to run in 2021, so hype and anticipation is high amongst those planning to attend Australia’s queer camping music and arts festival.

Limited to a capacity of 1,000 attendees, the festival’s organisers have described the event as the “camping music festival of your big gay dreams”.

Amongst the line-up is music of all varieties ranging from pop to leftfield dance music, and although all of the music will have its own excited audience, we are here to hype up the DJ and electronic music live performers.

DJs announced to play include the disco orientated Melbourne based trio Wax’o Paradiso and the abstract house and deep techno of Jennifer Loveless. Other DJs include Ayebatonye, Bertie, Daws, Tinika, Sophie Forrest, Nick Spurway, Club Confide’s Simonetti B2B Jesse Dm, Shinobi, Gay Roberto and more…

Queer ladies party Fanny Paq will be hosting a stage on Friday night, and on Saturday and Sunday morning queer dance music collective Kamp Kamp will be throwing a morning rave in the festival’s rainforest chapel.

Alongside the music, Gaytimes 2022 will also feature performance art including drag, cabaret, comedy, theatre, circus and dance. There will also be visual art, light installations, yoga, speed dating, life drawing, trivia, talks, workshops and gay stuff markets to buy trinkets and festival fashion.

The festival takes place in the Australian town of Gembrook, and runs between February 18th and 20th.
