Jay Lumen is a highly respected European techno artist known for his headline DJ sets and link to labels such as Drumcode.
Jay Lumen is touring Australia this weekend and is playing gigs in Melbourne, Sydney and Earth Frequency Festival located at Willowbank.
Based in Hungary, Jay Lumen is an internationally respected techno artist who is well-known for his music on labels such as Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. He also heads up his own record label called Footwork in addition to having numerous hit tracks on other influential imprints.
His up-tempo grooves and peak time DJ style orientate around driving percussion, exhilarating synth lines and dark atmospherics. His career spans nearly two decades and during that time he has earned his reputation for being a headline artist who knows how to work the dance floor into a frenzy of excitement.
His tour starts on the 12th of May at Eat The Beat in Melbourne where he is playing at the Brown Alley venue alongside a selection of homegrown Australian talent including the likes of Lisa May, and Ophelie Mercury.
On Saturday the 13th of May, Jay Lumen is travelling to Sydney where he is playing for the Church of Techno promoters at Home The Venue. He is joined by other international headliners Luis M from Portugal and Matan Caspi from Israel, plus a selection of local talent also in support.
Earth Frequency Festival runs from the 12th of May to the 15th of May, and he is also playing a headline set at the event before travelling back to Europe.
