Mixmag recently paid homage to one of Australia’s best electronic music festivals, Pitch Music & Arts.
After attending the 5th edition of the event, the international clubbing brand has posted an after movie that we couldn’t help but share ourselves.
The event recently made a triumphant return with its 2022 edition after having to pause for the pandemic.
It’s widely considered to be one of its kind in Australia and attracts people from across the country and further afield. It’s famed for its brutalist stage design that’s offset against the natural beauty of the Australian countryside.
Due to its global location and the fact that it features most of electronic music’s biggest names based in Europe of the US, Australian line-ups are often focused on just a handful of international headliners.
Pitch Music & Arts pulls out all the stops though, and along with a fine selection of local talent, the event flies in a large number of international artists. This year’s headliners include the likes of Jayda G, Denis Sulta, DJ Seinfeld, Eris Drew b2b Octo Octa, SHERELLE, Floating Points and INNER CITY.
It’s also got an incredible Funktion One soundsystem that’s believed to be the biggest one in the Southern Hemisphere, and also has sculpture installations from Burning Man’s award-winning Clayton Blake.
Each year, Pitch takes place at the foothills of the Grampian Plains national park, and you can watch Mixmag’s after video below…
