The Village Green Is A New Outdoor Venue Opening In Sydney, Australia

Running January 21st to and February 27th, the pop-up space will play host to the likes of Patrick Topping and Oliver Koletzki.

The Village Green is a new pop-up venue that will be open in Sydney on the 21st of January and run until the 27th of February.

With a capacity of 2,800 people, it will play host to some of the world’s best DJ talent along with bands and other live performances.

One of the events already announced is a party on the 26th of February that features a heavyweight DJ line-up headlined by Patrick Topping and Oliver Koletzki.

Patrick Topping has been an international sensation since his smash hit releases on Hot Creations threw him into the spotlight, which he then backed up with some incredible DJ skills. One of the world’s most in-demand tech house DJs, Patrick Topping is a UK artist who never disappoints.

Germany’s Oliver Koletzki is known for his melodic style, and for being label owner of Stil Vor Talent. Incredibly talented as both a DJ and producer, his DJ sets are highly anticipated and often become the stuff of local legend. Oliver Koletzki recently dropped a new album called Made Of Wood, which you can learn more about in his interview with Flow Music found HERE.

Other DJs also on the line-up are Loods, Airwolf Paradise, Latifa Tee, Wild Fox and Deebee.

Speaking to The Music Network, the venue’s co-owners, Nathaniel Holmes and Haydn Johnston explain that the outdoor venue is a result of the pandemic and subsequent restrictions, saying…

“We now have a completely unique parcel of land, for six weeks, during the best part of summer, fully licensed, and ready for outdoor live music and dancing – it’s a dream come true”.

“The Village Green is a direct response to the COVID restrictions affecting the live music and events industries. What we’ve created here in Tempe is an outdoor venue capable of accommodating crowd capacities that most indoor venues in Sydney are still unable to achieve.

“The city is more than ready for a return to live music and we’ve got the perfect spot for it.
