Reinier Zonneveld & Speedy J Collaborate On New EP ‘Oldskoolweg’

The four track techno EP is out now via Filth On Acid.

Reinier Zonneveld and Speedy J are dutch techno legends from the new and old-school generations.

The 111th release on Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth on Acid is a techno EP created in a basement studio in Rotterdam by new school techno icon Reinier Zonneveld, and old school legend Speedy J.

Reinier Zonneveld has become one of the most influential DJs on today’s techno scene, and Speedy J has been releasing tracks since the 90s.

Both of them are highly respected solo producers and their debut collaboration is a masterclass in how to make techno.

‘Oldskoolweg’ is a hard-hitting techno track that opens to EP with hammering drums and sheet metal percussion. Flashy synths and acid tones lash across the face of the tune. ‘Nummer 3’ is another bulky, turbocharged kicker with glitchy textures and pounding drums.

‘Kicktrack’ fizzes is a trademark to the Filth On Acid sound, crunching synths and galloping drums that kick like a horse. Last of all, ‘Boonweg’ let’s lose synths that tare through the speaker with their raw and gritty aesthetic.

All the tracks on this release are tailored for the dancefloor, and you can buy a copy HERE.
