M.Age.Project drops new organic house release, “Lucid State Dimensions”

Out now, alongside the three original tracks there are also remixes by Beatfarmer, Oondza, and Barda.

Baikal Nomads is a leading record label in the downtempo and organic house scenes, and it’s particularly respected for helping nurture new talent.

This release has original music from m.age.project who joins Baikal Nomads after releases on Meeronauten Musik, Shango, Lump, and Ohxalá Records. He is a German artist from Hannover, and his psychedelic sound is on full display with this melodic release.

There are three original tracks, and remix versions by Oondza, Barda, and Beatfarmer. Each of the remix artists puts their own spin on things to create a dynamic EP that has a range of styles.

The title track, “Lucid State Dimensions,” has harp sweeps and swirling synth pads creating a mesmerising groove propelled by steady percussion, which makes it ideal for the dance floor. “Benevolence” is the second track, and it’s got a light and floaty sound with ripples of acid and flurries of warped percussion. “Psycelium” has Middle-Eastern strings and angelic vocal pads layered over soaring melodies.

Beatfarmer is a Canadian artist with releases on labels such as Kosa and Merkaba Music, and he works in a new bassline and some extra synths to create a deep house version. Oondza is a duo of artists from Canada, and they have featured music on the likes of, down. and Cosmovision Records. Oondza deliver a trippy version of “Benevolence” that focuses on acid synth lines. Barda is an Argentinian artist with releases on 3000 Grad Records and Shango Records. Barda adds some trumpets and a new off-kilter bassline to complement the original’s psychedelic sound.
