Thanks for recording us a podcast, could you describe the vibe/energy were you trying to capture with your track selection?
I’ve been really feeling the whole reggae dub sound been a huge fan for years that’s the vibe I was going for in this mix
What’s your favourite track in the mix, and did you play any of your own music?
There are a lot of my unreleased tracks on the mix and My EP for Crosstown Rebels, and a new one coming out on my label Maya Recordings called Roots & Culture
Talking of your own tracks, what’s new in your release schedule, as we would love to know more about your new music?
Uffff I have so much music coming out, some big stuff! A new one with my bro Green Velvet, a follow-up to the track we did called Barbee that did really well. A bunch of new stuff on my label Maya Recordings Roots & Culture, Soundboy.
What do you think would be the perfect setting for someone to listen to your mix, and why do you think that would be the best place?
It can actually be anywhere, smoke a fatty and let the music take you on a journey 🙂
Who is your personal favourite DJ, and how have they influenced your own style?
Tough question I have so many that have influenced me The Wicked Crew guys from back in the day in SF Keoki, Derrick Carter, Doc Martin
Do you have a message for your fans or anything else you want to add?
Been doing Maya Sessions events with some top-notch talent, and I plan to take them on the road possibly to a city near you
