DJ Seinfeld Is Playing Melbourne, Australia This Weekend

The revered Swedish artist will be playing at The Industrique on the 28th of January.

DJ Seinfeld was voted Mixmag’s live act of the year in 2021, and is known for his music on labels such as Ninja Tune.

DJ Seinfeld is returning to Australia this month and on the 28th of January will be playing an all night long set at The Industrique in Melbourne with doors open from 9pm until 3am.

Armand Jakobsson aka DJ Seinfeld is a Swedish electronic music artist who broke onto the international scene as a pioneer of the lo-fi house sound, alongside others such as DJ Boring and Ross From Friends.

Since the release of his debut album ‘Time Spent Away From U’ in 2017, DJ Seinfeld’s sound has continued to evolve. DJ Seinfeld’s style is a melting pot of techno, house and breakbeat. His chunky grooves often have deep atmosphere and heavy basslines layered with dreamy top-end synths or soulful vocals.

In 2021 he dropped his album ‘Mirrors’ via Ninja Tune and that same year Mixmag awarded him their live act of the year, which shows he knows how to work a crowd and makes his return to Australia doubly exciting. Many might also be familiar with his mix CD for the DJ-KiCKS series which has also featured the likes of Nina Kraviz and Moodymann.
