DJ Boring & DJ Seinfield are playing the one-day event being run in place of Australia’s Pitch Festival that was forced to postpone due to pandemic restrictions.
Pitch Black is one of the main electronic music stages at the festival, and after the cancellation of the camping event, they have decided to run a smaller scale, inner-city, one day party.
Running at an open-air location yet to be disclosed, all the artists playing hold an Australian passport with the exception of DJ Seinfeld who in line with government guidelines, has agreed to do a two-week hotel quarantine before his tour of the country.
The event organisers had worked hard to try and run their usual camping event in 2021, but were forced to postpone until March 2022 due to restrictions that the organisers felt would restrict or ruin the festival experience for ticket holders.
Next year the festival will return home to its usual location in the Grampians, and Pitch Music & Arts will return with its usual high-quality stage.
The inner-city recreation of Pitch Black features an arena, which has become synonymous with Pitch Music & Arts, and will play host to a multitude of the best electronic talent Australia has on offer.
Pitch Black will have its famous brutalist, steel, multi-level dance floor and in order to accommodate all patrons, this time it will be larger than the original version. The stage will be expanded into a giant rectangular, scaffolding colosseum featuring a surround sound Funktion-One soundsystem.
Its all Australian line-up will enable the event to go ahead in a one-day format, and you can find out more HERE
