Dave Seaman Remixes Eric Lune On Flow Music

Out now, the progressive house EP also features a collaborative remix by GMJ and Matter.

Flow Music is proud to announce the second release from our record label. We are very excited to present the incredibly talented Eric Lune!

Eric Lune is an Australian artist from Melbourne, and along with his two original tracks titled “Adore” and “Desire” the EP also features remixes by the UK’s Dave Seaman and a collaborative effort from Australians GMJ & Matter.

Earlier in the year we invited Eric Lune to record a 333 Sessions podcast for us, and ever since we have been captivated by both his melodic DJ style and progressive house productions. So, it made sense that we asked him for some demos, and we were blown away by what was offered to us.

He has previously worked with other labels such as Sound Avenue, Art Vibes Music and Proton plus many others, and we feel honoured that Flow Music is now a record label also in his catalogue of releases.

As a regular performer at festivals and club events across Australia, Eric Lune has a large national following, but we wanted to help expand that to the rest of the world, and decided that getting a legend like Dave Seaman to do a remix would make this EP hard to miss.

Dave Seaman is one of the most accomplished DJs in the melodic house and techno genre, and has been at the forefront of international DJ culture since the ‘90s. Many know his CD compilations for the likes of Global Underground, and his own music has forever been a regular part of other people’s DJ sets.

Although, Dave Seaman’s remix is truly outstanding, we also wanted a second remix that would go alongside his, and we knew exactly who would be up for the challenge of not getting overshadowed by Dave Seaman.

GMJ & Matter are two diamonds in the rough that glisten and shine with enough talent that we felt they would be up for the task, and they certainly did deliver on their remix of Adore. Both are solo artists, but regularly they collaborate, and individually have worked with the likes of Sudbeat, Parquet, Anjunadeep and Balance Music.

Both of the original versions blend captivating melody progressions with emotive pads and crisp percussion that’s sequenced into vigorous rhythms perfect for the dance floor. Each of the remixes has its own flavour, Dave Seaman going darker and more hypnotic, while GMJ & Matter go for a refined approach with an ethereal atmosphere.

Our third release is already in the works, and we can’t wait to announce news of it, but in the meantime, we hope you enjoy this one.
