Chris Liebing Announces New Album ‘Another Day’

Due for release in November 2021, the ten-track release is forthcoming on Mute.

Chris Liebing is an Iconic German techno artist.

Yesterday he released the first single ‘Whispers and Wires’ from his forthcoming album. Whispers and Wires feature the voice of female vocalist Ladan, and it’s a moody track with brooding tension.

Ladan is a Canadian singer previously known as Cold Sparks, and her voice provides the main focus of the first single which has a cinematic home listening vibe rather than a dance floor cut.

German DJ and producer, Chris Liebing also collaborated on the 10 track LP with the likes of Tom Adams, Polly Scattergood and Maria Uzor.

Miles Cooper Seaton has also contributed to one of the tracks, and it’s one of his last performances before passing away earlier in 2021.

Another Day is the follow up to Liebing’s 2018 LP on Mute called Burn Slow that also featured several of the artists who appeared on this new release.

Ralf Hildenbeutel returns to help produce and engineer the album, and discussing the release Chris Liebing said: “With this album, I wanted to take myself out of it as much as possible.

Although the first single is out now, the full album is scheduled for release on November 19 via Mute, which is the same label to have signed the likes of Depeche Mode.

The new LP will be available on double pack clear vinyl and also in CD format, both will have a silver finish and 16-page booklet. It will also be available via digital platforms.
