Brigado Crew | Flow Podcast 37

The Argentinian duo have played DJ sets all over the world, and just dropped their debut album on Stil Vor Talent.

Brigado Crew is an Argentinian duo known for their melodic grooves made with a blend of uplifting synths and organic textures.

The guys are popular DJs in South America, but have travelled to play everywhere from Russia to Dubai. Their music has carried them all over the world, and we are honoured to have this exclusive mix from them.

Not only are the guys talented DJs, they are also hotly tipped producers known for their compelling releases on Stil Vor Talent, Katermukke and Diynamic.

Recently the guys dropped their debut album on Stil Vor Talent called “Symbiosis”, and in addition to the mix, they also took the time to run through a few questions…

Thanks for recording us a podcast, could you describe the vibe/energy were you trying to capture with your track selection?

The mix features a selection of our tracks that are part of our first album ‘Symbiosis’, which has just been released on Stil vor Talent. The vibe that we are creating is a mixture of 80s sounds and futuristic sounds we love.

What’s your favourite track in the mix, and did you play any of your own music?

The complete set consists of our own tracks. Our favourite track is really hard to choose, although we are in love with the title track ‘Symbiosis’.

Talking of your own tracks, what’s new in your release schedule, as we would love to know more about your new music?

As we’ve just released our album, we’d like to enjoy the moment for once. We are always working on new music, but are very relaxed and are having no pressure at the moment to think about the next releases.

What do you think would be the perfect setting for someone to listen to your mix, and why do you think that would be the best place?

A very good sound system to catch all the details is always preferable, but the tracks do also work in the living room.

Who is your personal favourite DJ, and how have they influenced your own style?

We don’t have any favourite DJ in particular, though we are following and valuing the sound many. We try to embrace different styles to build on our sound. We are always paying attention to inspiring DJs like Oliver Koletzki, Solomun, Dixon, Hernan Cattaneo, and many more. We are sound and music nerds and really love the 80s and added a lot of these sounds to our album. Also, we love bands like Depeche Mode, The Cure, A-HA, New Order to name a few.

Do you have a message for your fans or anything else you want to add?

At this moment we are really appreciating that we are alive. The pandemic has been a hard situation for all of us, but we are nevertheless happy to release our debut album and are receiving a lot of love from our fans and followers. This is and has been so important for us throughout many hard moments and we are very thankful.
