Beyond The Valley is an Australian festival at the picturesque Barunah Plains that’s located just 90 minutes outside of Melbourne. The four-day camping festival starts on the 28th of December and finishes on the 1st of January, making it the perfect way to bring in the new year.

Along with the impressive DJ line-up, the event’s location also boasts a small slice of paradise with its stunning greenery and creek. It also has a 100,000 square metre natural amphitheatre that adds to the slender of Barunah Plains.

There are a selection of DJs as impressive as the venue too, with international headliners including house and techno acts such as Bicep, Kaytranada, Honey Dijon, DJ BORING, Sofia Kourtesis, Folamour, HAAi, Job Jobse, Palms Trax, Patrick Topping and Charlotte de Witte.

There is also a selection of other music including hip hop and R&B stars plus a live performance from Nelly Furtado who hasn’t played any solo shows since 2017.

Along with the natural amphitheatre Main Stage, The Dance Tent has a 70-metre wide LED wall and the Dr. Dan’s stage is a multilevel dance floor colosseum.

There is also access to a swimming pool at the Beach Club plus the secret Schmall Klüb that’s accessed through a hidden door located inside a portaloo and through the festival there will be some special DJ performances for those who are lucky enough to find it.

Along with the music there are also going to be interactive art installations, speed dating, open mic, fortune teller, yoga, pilates, meditation and more. There will also be glamping options for those who want to get even more lavish.

Beyond The Valley will also help several charitable initiatives and local investments that are projected to raise $30 million for the surrounding area and the festival is launching a donation scheme to annually award $50,000 to local community groups.

Tickets are being sold through registered charity Humanitix, which supports disadvantaged children. $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience, which supports indigenous communities.
