Natural Gallery of Victoria is hosting free DJ sets every Sunday in its Temple of Boom.

In January 2023, the Natural Gallery of Victoria is hosting free-to-attend live DJ gigs in its Temple of Boom located in its garden area.

Starting on the 1st of January its weekly DJ events will run from 12-4 pm and feature sets from a range of talented locals including Shio, Mike Gurrieri, Sophie Mcalister, Yeo and Kazi John.

Ranging from jazz and soul to house and disco, there will be a blend of music suited to a chilled afternoon setting. Drinks will also be available at the Four Pillars Bar so people can relax under the shade of the trees with a refreshing drink while taking in the music.

Temple of Boom is an outdoor architectural design that’s inspired by the Parthenon on the Acropolis in Athens. Local artists from Melbourne have been invited to leave their mark on the structure with vibrant colours that give it an Aussie reimagining.

The location will also offer other free activities throughout January including drawing classes for adults and families, a kids punk concert, as well as numerous exhibitions.
