RAW Gadigal will showcase Sydney’s underground techno scene.

Sydney has always had an underground techno scene, but club events supporting the genre have sometimes been sporadic. RAW Gadigal is planning to change that by providing a weekly destination for those who want to spend their weekend on the dancefloor.

RAW Gadigal will be hosting Friday and Saturday night events at the Tokyo Sing Song nightclub on King Street in Newtown. Open from 10pm until 4am the event promises to run the kind of “techno event one would find in Berlin, Paris or London, while ensuring “it has its own unique local quality”.

It will be a place to help push home grown Australian talent, and somewhere for Sidney’s techno community to congregate.

The line-up for Friday the 19th of August features Estèe Louder, Kate Doherty,Lucy Cliché, Magda Bytnerowicz, Methodix and Trinity.
