Laurent Garnier Announces New Album With French Rock Band The Limiñanas

The collaborative release will be titled “Movie” and the first single can already be heard online.

Laurent Garnier is an artist who rose to international fame off the back of tracks such as “The Man With The Red Face” and “Crispy Bacon”.

In recent times, he is still one of the world’s most in-demand DJs, but each year he usually puts out only a few new tracks or remixes, which makes him releasing new music something of a special occasion.

With this in mind, fans will be excited to learn of a new album Laurent Garnier has made in collaboration with a French rock band, The Limiñanas who are a duo from Cabestany in the Eastern Pyrenees.

Laurent Garnier is famed for his wide mix of influences, and Jazz is one of his favourite genres outside of electronic music.

The Limiñanas are known for their psychedelic style that taps into the experimental jazz elements that Laurent Garnier also likes to explore.

Giving a statement on the project, Laurent Garnier said: “It has been a great pleasure to work together on this cinematic and road-trip album.
