It’s always been there – from crafting homemade DJ mix tapes as a child and learning to play any instrument within reach, to studying Creative Music Production and Lecturing in Music Technology, Claire Spooner aka Just Her, has grown and evolved to become a major force in Electronic Music.
A heavily in-demand DJ, producer and musician, her stellar songwriting and engineering work with Him_Self_Her has propelled her into the upper reaches of the underground music scene, landing releases with world-class labels such as Toolroom & Crosstown Rebels, a wealth of Beatport chart positions, an Essential New Tune on Radio 1 and gigs all over the world.
Just Her has forthcoming releases out on Last Night On Earth and Circus Recordings, and her Just Her ‘Beautiful Nothing’ EP is out now on Anjunadeep.

“Obviously the idea behind this three-hour mix series is to tell a story with the music, so I want to say as little as possible about the mix itself so that the listener can go on their own personal journey with it, without any pre-conceptions. All I will say is that I recorded it live and tried to create a mix that reflects my own personal journey within electronic music, with a nod to my roots as well as where I’m heading.
