ITAI is a talented Saxophonist and electronic music artist who combines his love of live instrumentation with sequenced beats.

An extremely talented producer, his debut album “A Trip To Idyllwild” was released in 2021 on Laroz’s record label Camel Riders.

That release was a blend of live saxophone, synthesisers and a selection of other instruments either played live or sampled.

Following up on that initial album release is a remix pack that revisits the album and breathes fresh life into the original versions.

There were eight tracks on the original release, but there are nine remixes as ‘Curiosity Bear’ got two new versions by Zuma Dionys and also a collaboration between Matija & Richard Elcox.

Other artists that contributed reworks include PheuZen, Just Emma and Urem, Max TenRoM, Dandara, Alvaro Suarez, Catori and Noraj Cue.

Most of the remixes are true to the originals, keeping their core identity the same, but adding new supporting elements to the lead sounds and percussion rhythms.

There are some remixes like the one by Catori that completely transform the original, as his remix of ‘This Is The Way’ dramatically lifts the tempo and adds a delightful vocal that wasn’t in the original.

There is a lot to unpack in this remix package that on a whole provides dancefloor focused alternatives that are perfect for DJ sets.
