The 26th release on Clubsonica Records welcomes Dmitry Molosh back to the label for his debut single.
The Belarus based artist is fresh off his first EP for Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music while appearances on Cid Inc’s Replug Records and Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank Records have highlighted a sensational 2016. Now making his return to Clubsonica, Dmitry presents his latest studio creation entitled ‘Glow’ alongside remixes from Juan Pablo Torrez, Monojoke and Artfaq.
Dmitry is no stranger to Clubsonica having contributed his chart topping ‘Eclipse’ to the label’s 2016 ADE Sampler. Now a leader in the new landscape of progressive house Dmitry closes the year out with one of his most sought after productions to date ‘Glow’. Beginning with tough, dynamic beats, the Belarus based artist methodically works rugged bass tones and firing percussion into the mix for the ultimate peak time groove. A monstrous lead riff takes the track into epic territory, before a tension filled break ultimately seals it’s brilliance with one final rush of electronics for the ultimate dance floor moment. Likely one of Dmitry’s largest productions to date and already featured by Hernan Cattaneo on his hugely popular Resident FM podcast, so you know it’s one not to miss.
The first interpretation of ‘Glow’ is provided by Clubsonica Records label boss Juan Pablo Torrez. The Colombian artist is making his 10th appearance on his home imprint which follows successful outings on Perspectives Digital and Hydrogen. In a year filled with support from Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, Juan delivers one of his all time best remixes taking ‘Glow’ in a new direction with funky stabs and electric energy. With his extensive DJ experience Juan always has the dance floor in mind and the main break is a prime example of that. A lesson in dramatic tension, it builds to a vibrant fervour before the kick does finally drop and you’re met with a vortex of spiralling synths, carrying the track to an exhilarating conclusion.
The second interpretation of ‘Glow’ is provided by Monojoke who is making his first appearance on Clubsonica Records. The Polish producer has been on a steady rise this year, he’s earned chart, club and mix support from Guy J and has never once wavered from his pure progressive house roots. His Clubsonica debut has been much anticipated and certainly lives up to the hype as he’s remodelled ‘Glow’ in his own unique style. Rough, rugged and rhythmic it’s gets underway with a series of electric stabs and clattering drums. As the piece builds the main themes spring to life amidst Monojoke’s dense and intoxicating sonic space. An exhilarating first act is met with a timely and appropriately electric break, setting up an even bigger third act that will certainly send your dance floor home happy.
The release concludes with Artfaq returning to the label for their second appearance. The Argentinean duo first appeared on the Colombian imprint in March of this year with a remix of ‘Saturn Rings’ by Joan Retamero & Rockin’ Beats. Now fresh off a great EP for Nikko.Z’s Dopamine Music, Artfaq returns and close the release out in style with a superb rendition of ‘Glow’. Appropriately entitled ‘Space’ the Argentinean duo reshapes Dmitry’s elements into a tripped out seven journey that’s sure to win over even the most discerning progressive house aficionado. Built around an energetic core, its percussive waves and hyper-rhythmic approach is perfectly geared for peak time. Following a well timed and expertly executed break, cross-cultural themes combined with spoken word vocals make for a magic moment, as the electric synths continue to build intensity on to a massive finale. A huge conclusion to one of Clubsonica’s most anticipated and star studded releases to date. Don’t miss it.
