Marking 25 years of Metalheadz, the historic DnB label will take over the vast surrounds of Printworks in South East London for the most significant show in their history on Sat, 5th October.
The bulk of the line-up needs little introduction. As founder of Metalheadz, the main man Goldie will be joined by a stacked bill of hugely influential talents from the DnB realm in the Press Halls for a day-time celebration ’til late.
Since Metalheadz is celebrating its quarter of a century milestone, David Rodigan has been invited to join the furore. Rodigan, who’s known for his ‘ganja-scented, bass-heavy’ reggae is a stone-cold legend on the UK music scene.
Special guest Skream, Doc Scott, DJ Zinc, Fabio & Grooverider, Randall, DJ Storm, Flight and Om Unit have also been invited to take part in this momentous occasion. It’s fair to say each of these artists has played a pivotal role in shaping the UK DnB scene, creating a sound that is truly trademark.
Special guests My Nu Leng have followed a meteoric rise over the last few years with their versatile approach to producing, making the Bristolian duo an essential addition to this huge Metalheadz gathering. Fellow special guest MC Dread will also join the party to top off a perfect amalgam of established and fresh talent, not mention a third special guest who is yet to be revealed.
An eclectic mix of UK-based artists from the DnB circuit complete the running order. Dub Phizix & Strategy, Benny L, DLR, Artificial Intelligence, Zero T, Nymfo, Ant TC1, Grey Code and Scar soundtrack the space for a proper sweaty rave-up. LowQui, Codebreaker & Visionobi complete the bill on MC duties.
