Belfast’s AVA Festival Reveals Its 2021 Event

Fully outdoors, for the first time it will be held at Boucher Road Playing Fields.

Belfast’s AVA Festival has been announced for the 24th and 25th of September 2021.

The event will be held at Boucher Road Playing Fields, and it’s the first time this location has been used for the festival. In addition to local talent, the line-up includes the likes of Helena Hauff, Carista, Kaidi Tatham, Sally C, Jayda G, Or:la, and Tommy Holohan.

Sarah McBriar is the founder and director of the event, and she gave a statement about the new venue: “Not only will this be one of the first festivals returning after a pandemic, but this will also be the beginning of our new fully outdoor chapter,” then goes on to say “We have been working on the new site design for some time, combining our signature industrial design with the natural landscape, showcasing the artists in the best way and making this year’s AVA experience unique. The dark evenings in September will also lend itself to our new audio-visual shows planned.”

AVA will start at 12:00 PM and run through to midnight on both days, and there will also be afterparties and a closing show. You can find out more HERE
