The latest release on One of a Kind welcomes Audiostorm to the label for his debut single.
The Montenegrin artist is fresh off releases on A Must Have and Majestic Family Records while also owning releases on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music. Now making his much anticipated One Of A Kind debut AudioStorm presents his latest single entitled ‘Evolution 21’ alongside a remix from Salski.
AudioStorm’s displayed a lot of diversity this year with productions ranging from tripped out progressive to deep and sultry wonders. ‘Evolution 21’ certainly falls in to the latter category with its dubby groove and serene atmospheres. Undeniably late night, the piece flows through a storyboard of spacey textures and clustered claps before a timely break resets the groove for a strong finish. AudioStorm has also provided a ‘Progressive Sunrise’ Mix which as the name suggests does venture into more progressive minded territory and the funkiness of the original gets upped quite nicely. Edgier synth design makes for some electric moments and a monumentally spaced out break leads to a bigger third act. Two excellent versions well suited for different occasions.
The lone interpretation of ‘Evolution 21’ is provided by Salski who is making his first appearance on One Of A Kind. The Polish artist just remixed One Of A Kind label boss Jelly For The Babies for The Purr Music and also has great 2016 outings on BQ Recordings and Spring Tube where his deep sound has flourished. His interpretation of ‘Evolution 21’ however is much more progressive minded and the results are excellent. Anchored by a warn wall of sub bass the Polish artist crafts a wonderful journey through dreamy atmospheres and tantalizing textures. A long and strong melodic break brings both hypnotic and emotive vibes, perfectly setting up a great drop where the low end really comes alive. Big remix from Salski and a great release for One Of A Kind. Don’t miss it .
