After missing last year due to the pandemic, Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has plans to hold its 25th edition.
Hosted in the Dutch capital, the citywide festival and music conference is spread across multiple locations. Acts already confirmed to play at parties include Avalon Emerson, Speedy J and Dave Clarke.
Some of the promoters announced to put on club events are Awakenings, DGTL and Elrow.
Starting April, ADE will also be hosting free discussion sessions on its B2B platform about rebuilding the music industry after the damage caused by the COVID lockdowns.
This news comes after the Dutch government extended the country’s national lockdown by three weeks, as the Dutch Health Institute reported a 16% rise in positive coronavirus tests.
The current rise in the Dutch infection rate includes a notable increase in younger demographics. Despite this, the widespread vaccination campaign and rapid testing is making them optimistic for ADE to take place at the end of the year.
