The 25 track release features music by Layton Giordani & HI-LO, Gary Beck, Nicole Moudaber, Cosmic Boys, Julian Jeweil and more…
Drumcode’s beloved A-Sides compilation makes a welcome return after a two-year absence, with a mammoth 25-track feast covering every shade of the techno spectrum.
The project was devised in 2012 as a way of showcasing the wealth of strong material Adam Beyer receives each year, which due to Drumcode’s busy release schedule, might not otherwise find a home on the label.
Since then, it’s grown to become an essential fixture on the label’s release schedule and is also used as a platform to test the water with new talent.
Many of the artists on the release need little introduction to Drumcode fans as it features tracks by label regulars such as Tiger Stripes, Julian Jeweil, Wehbba and Veerus.
It also features label debuts from the likes of Cosmic Boys, BEC and LAAT, who have all made a name for themselves via high profile releases on other scene leading record labels, but they now add Drumcode to their roster.
It would be near impossible to break all 25 tracks down individually, but all of them are high quality techno inline with the high standard that Drumcode has set.
